　　Dietmar Wolfram 简介
　　迪特玛（Dietmar）教授于1990年获得西安大略大学图书情报学博士学位，现任教于美国威斯康辛大学密尔瓦基分校信息科学学院，担任该校信息科学博士项目主任，主要教授的课程包括：信息学、图书馆学和情报学基础理论、电子网络和研究方法方面的课程。其主要从事应用信息计量学、信息检索系统评价、信息职业者技能教育以及信息检索系统模型建立方面的研究，并且发表了大量信息检索与信息计量学方面的文章，其中包括《信息计量学在信息检索中的应用》，《信息计量学频率分布程序中SQL语言的应用》，参与了多本专著的编写，在五十多个学术会议中做专题报告。同时，Dietmar博士还担任《网络计量学》、《信息计量学杂志》、《ISSI通讯》等学术杂志编辑。
　　DIETMAR WOLFRAM Biography
　　Dr. Dietmar Wolfram is a professor at the School of Information Studies, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He received his PhD Library and Information Science from the University of Western Ontario in 1990. Dr. Wolfram teaches courses in information science, foundations of library and information science, electronic networking, and research methods. His research areas include applied informetrics, information retrieval system evaluation, technology education for information professionals, and modeling and simulation of IR systems and use. Dr. Wolfram has published extensively in IR and Informetrics. He is the author of "Applied Informetrics for Information Retrieval." Dr. Wolfram is the founding director of the doctoral program in information science at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
